The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) cadets from Albay province are in their birthplace to persuade Bicolanos to apply online for the PNPA entrance examination slated on November 10, 2019.
Online applications may be filed through http://application.pnpa.ph/register.php not later than September 30.
In a radio interview, Cadet 1st Class Farah Johann Bisoña said the academy offers full scholarship program with clothing and monthly allowance of P38,000 to those who qualified.
“To qualify for the exam, aspiring cadets who are 18 to 22 years old must be a natural born Filipino, single with no parental obligations, and should be 5’2 in height for female and 5’4 for male,” said Bisoña.
For members of Indigenous People tribes who do not meet the height requirement, they need to secure a certificate of tribe membership for their application.
Cadet 1st Class Nario Jude Manjares added that graduates of the academy will be conferred with a degree on public safety and will be appointed either as lieutenant in the PNP or inspector in the Bureau of Fire Protection or Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
“The academy prepares us to become competent future leaders. When we become full-fledged officers, we will be ready to serve the country,” Cadet Manjares said.
Bisoña and Manjares are graduating PNPA Cadets of Batch 2020 who hailed from Albay.
